Goaltending

My name is David Rook and I am currently the Goaltending Coach for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League and the Goaltender Consultant for the St. Louis Blues, working with their American Hockey League Affiliate in Peoria. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Huron Hockey School and congratulate you on taking the responsibility of furthering your development.

Once upon a time, I, too, was a Huron student just like you studying the goalie position and learning how to take my game to the next level. I have had the chance to come full circle with Huron and now provide program direction for the goalie curriculum along with Richard Shulmistra. This summer we plan to incorporate drills that will focus on improving the development of your natural ability, reflexes and basic fundamentals. Throughout the day, you will be put in challenging situations and pushed beyond your comfort zone.
