"Shuey" as he is commonly referred to by his fellow instructors and students
also started with Huron as a goalie student at our Huron Park Ontario Camp
under the instruction of former NHL goalie and current Dallas Stars Director
of Amateur Scouting, Tim Bernhardt. Bernhardt so influenced Richard that it
helped get him started on his path to the NHL. Huron Goalies certainly enjoy
"Shueys" personalized teaching approach.
