Employment Opportunities
Thank You for your interest in Huron Hockey School. Currently we are looking to recruit the following positions for the summer of 2007. Head On-Ice Instructors & Associate On-Ice Instructors
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Coaching, Playing or Instruction experience is a definite requirement.
- Ability to teach regular and elite fundamental hockey skills such as skating, shooting and puck handling as per Huron curriculum.
- Represent the Hockey School in a professional manner on and off the ice.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
Group Directors
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be attending or have completed post secondary school.
- Provide assistance for instructors and teaching players as per Huron curriculum.
- Represent the Hockey School in a professional manner.
- Daily supervision of players in their program schedules and all on and off-ice activities.
- Maintain Huron rules and regulations.
- In the case where residence programs are offered dorm supervision may be required.
Counselors
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be attending or have completed post secondary school.
- Possesses reasonable skating skills and knowledge of hockey.
- Must be able to work with young developing hockey players ages 6 to 16.
- Committed to working with the head on ice and associate instructors to perform all the tasks required.
- Maintain Huron rules and regulations.
- Represent the Hockey School in a professional manner on and off the ice.
- In the case where residence programs are offered dorm supervision may be required.
*Note: All applicants will be required to complete a background check along with other staff paper work.
